The 2024 EC2U Forum: Registration Information.

Empowering Minds for a Peaceful Society

We are delighted to welcome you to the 2024 EC2U Forum at the Johannes Kepler University Linz.

Whether you are new to Linz, a resident of the city, a returning visitor, or involved at the JKU, we are excited to share our wonderful university and city with you in an exciting international context.

Please sign up in advance to attend by clicking on the link and make sure you have all of the reqjuired information and documents on hand.

Before signing up, here is a brief overview of some of the information you will be asked to submit.

Forum participants can upload one image (max 2 MB). Make sure the photo is high quality (minimum: 3840 x 2160 pixels) or, during registration and if the file is larger, simply paste the link from a transfer software site (such as WeTransfer, öffnet in einem neuen Fenster). By uploading an image, you confirm you have the copyright or permission to use and share any identifiable individuals depicted in the photo, and that you are complying with data privacy laws.

Explore the JKU campus, key historical facts, and facilities.

  • Tuesday, 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM | Tuesday, 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
  • Wednesday, 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM

2.    LIT Factory Tour
Learn more about sustainable practices and industrial partnerships.

  • Monday, 2:15 PM – 3:45 PM
  • Tuesday, 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM

3.    Chemistry Tour
Following a general introduction, visit various chemistry labs.

  • Monday, 2:15 PM – 3:45 PM

4.    Hidden Places Tour
Discover the JKU's hidden places, exclusively for Communication Officers and Local Coordinators.

  • Tuesday, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM

5.    USI Tour
Tour the University Sports Institute and and try out some mini activities.

  • Tuesday, 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM

6.    The JKU Medical Campus Tour
Discover the remarkable architecture of JKU’s medical campus.

  • Wednesday, 1:30 PM – 2:45 PM

7.    The Physics Tour
Visit the "clean room" as well as our state-of-art physics lab. 

  • Wednesday, 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM

General City Tour
Learn more about the city of Linz, and visit key historical and cultural landmarks.
