During the scrimmage against the more experienced Vienna BOKU Beez, the JKU Astros football team played an impressive game. Coaches Mike Süß and Carson Wittwer accomplished a tremendous feat in just eight months, their efforts clearly on display during the game. The team (dressed in white borrowed uniforms from the Huskies) not only managed to keep up with the Beez, they were able to clearly dominate the game.

Number 17, Nils Kühn, proved to be the player to watch, scoring not only the first, but also the second touchdown in the JKU Astro’s history. The touchdown scored by number 87, Jakob Riedlsperger, was every bit as remarkable. The winning score demonstrated the JKU Astro’s offensive strength.

In addition to an outstanding offense, the JKU Astros team's defense also delivered. The players were able to effectively defend against the opponents' offenses while preventing them from scoring. The team’s strong defensive play is a testament to solid team preparation and cohesion.

The JKU Astros’ first exhibition game has demonstrated the team's potential and future prospects. The Astros plan to continue to build on their foundation to grow and evolve to ultimately accomplish greater goals during the upcoming season.
