THE KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER CENTER WEST.

Strengthen networking processes, enhance professionalism, and develop a multidisciplinary approach.

An important part of academic work is to convey the new and most recent knowledge and understanding generated in academia to the outside world.

Established in 2014, the Wissenstransferzentrum West (Knowledge Transfer Center West) supports the academic/scientific community in its endeavor and to open up opportunities. This is the reason six universities and associated partners in Upper Austria, Salzburg and Tyrol have come together to join forces.

During the second and third project phases (since 2022), WTZ West has continued to grow and now includes six universities and four universities of applied sciences.

Bringing universities and university locations together, along with implementing joint measures, can intensify a long-term transfer of knowledge and technology, tap into enormous potential, and utilize productive synergies.
