It is impossible to imagine medicine without artificial intelligence (AI). The only way to innovate is by bringing different disciplines together. Launched in 2022 and in an effort to build bridges between the different disciplines, the AI in Medicine course was created  in collaboration with TNF and MED. The course focuses on expanding one's perspective outside of one's own discipline, facilitating a common language and initiating innovative solutions and topics at the crossroads where AI and medicine meet. The goal is for students to work together as part of an interdisciplinary team and explore new questions while also working on case studies. National and international experts are invited to provide student support and give exciting presentations, hold workshops, and provide feedback.

AI in Medicine will be continued by the Linz Institute for Transformative Change (LIFT_C) from 2024.
