Participation in the Routines Research Community (RRC) Meeting in Oxford
On March 27 and 28, 2025, our Head of the Institute Waldemar Kremser and our PhD Candidate Johannes Winkler participated in the Routines Research Community (RRC) Meeting at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
The event was organized by Alfie Jackson and provided an important platform for international exchange on current research in the field of routinedynamics.
At the meeting, Johannes Winkler presented an emerging research project entitled "Managing Complex Innovation within Decentralized Forms of Organizing (DFOs) through Structural Mirroring", which he is developing together with Waldemar Kremser and Oliver Alexy from the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
We are very grateful for the valuable feedback from internationally renowned researchers – an important impetus for the further development of the project.

Kick-off with start-ups: Bachelor's seminar "Strategic and market-oriented management in practice" in collaboration with tech2b
In this semester, participants of the seminar "Strategic and Market-Oriented Management in Practice" have once again the special opportunity to work together with four innovative start-ups: IMARA Connect (software for fitness studios to increase customer loyalty), Trillectric (first electrically motorized water ski), LAWAI (AI solution for legal research) and Layonardo (AI-based validation tool for images).
The aim is to combine theoretical knowledge with real-life business challenges in order to further develop and apply strategic knowledge. During the kick-off meeting, the students presented their initial ideas for analyses and explained their planned procedures. In subsequent discussions, these concepts were reflected on and optimized together with the startup representatives.
We are looking forward to an exciting semester and would like to thank our start-ups and, above all, our collaboration partner tech2b for enabling us to organize this innovative seminar together again!
