Approximately 3,000 students in Austria are currently taking advantage of the opportunity to earn one of over 25 academic degree programs at the FernUniversität in in Hagen from home, free of time and location constraints and alongside their professional and personal lives.

Some 700 students are enrolled in the JKU's two distance learning programs, the Multimedia Diploma Degree program in Law, and Artificial Intelligence, as well as for examinations as part of the University Enrollment Eligibility Examination.
