The Linz Institute of Technology (LIT) serves as a hub for JKU researchers, faculty members, and students from across disciplines to come together and support technological advancements. The LIT draws on support provided by internationally active partners in the business community and in industry. Learning and research are seamlessly integrated at the LIT: JKU scholars and scientists share their expertise with students, enabling students to directly contribute to research in the form of real-world, hands-on experience. All of the JKU's departments, particularly at the Faculty of Engineering & Natural Sciences, work together at the LIT.
