Program Objective:
The extension graduate degree program in Health Care Management aims to provide medical professionals and business executives with in-depth understanding and skills in business, economics and law and become an effective leader and a key player when meeting the challenges of today’s rapidly evolving, dynamic healthcare market.

The extension graduate degree program in Health Care Management has been designed especially for: professionals and supervisors/management in the healthcare sector, such as physicians, senior nurses, administrative staff who have budget and personnel responsibilities, as well as other professional groups who exercise managerial responsibility. The program expands on the student’s first degree by providing structured, comprehensive instruction focusing on healthcare management.

Program Objective:

The program has been created for management-level educators to help develop and continue to develop the pedagogical, functional, social and personal skills necessary for leadership roles in education. These areas include, for example, human resource management and team development, quality management as well as school and lesson development. Graduates of the program are qualified to assume leadership functions at educational institutions in accordance with national and international quality standards.

The program is aimed at school administrative directors and junior staff managing educational institutions as well as those in the field of school supervision, quality management in education, and teachers at educational colleges.

Physicians are confronted with a variety of issues on a daily basis, ranging from mandatory responsibilities to providing legal disclosure, documentation, understanding labor laws, hospital laws, and basic criminal & civil laws to grasping social and tax issues.

This hands-on program provides students with everyday legal expertise they can apply to their respective medical fields. The program instructors are legal experts who can expertly convey the program and course content educationally in the classroom.

The program has been designed primarily for medical physicians and legal professionals who wish to specialize in Medical Law as well as for notary publics, legal practitioners, and university graduates who wish to learn more in-depth about the field of Medical Law.

Program Objective:
The program provides a methodological and critical analysis of ethical acceptability in medical practice. During the program, instructors and students will discuss general base-knowledge ethics in the context of a philosophical discipline. Reflection topics include doctor-patient relationships as well as ethical questions at the beginning and end of life, and selected questions in various medical subject areas. Additional topics include pharmaceutical ethics, ethical questions as applied to care facilities, general care, emergency and intensive care medicine, research ethics and public health ethics.

The program is for medical physicians in particular, as well as those involved in the field of healthcare.
