We have compiled step-by-step information about the admissions procedure below. Please note that in order to enroll, you must meet the outlined admission requirements and the general legal admission requirements.

Application Periods

The first application period for the upcoming program (2025/2026):
October 5, 2024 - December 15, 2024 (personal interviews will be held in January)

The second application period for the upcoming program (2025/2026):
January 15, 2025 - March 15, 2025 (personal interviews will be held in March/April)

The third application period for the upcoming program (2025/2026):
April 1, 2025 - June 15, 2025 (personal interviews will be held in June/July)

Important information regarding the third application period:
Please be aware that if the program is full following the first and second application periods, the third application period will not take place.
The third period will be open for applications this year.

Step 1: Application

Use the online form, opens an external URL in a new window to submit your application. You may apply for the program once you have successfully completed an undergraduate degree program. If you need assistance, contact us by e-mail.

The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a standardized, internationally recognized examination conducted around the world. Please note that you will need time to prepare for the examination (a minimum of 8 weeks; up to 6 months). Click here, opens an external URL in a new window for detailed information.

Applicants must be able to provide proof of a valid GMAT score by June 30, 2025, otherwise you will not be permitted to continue with the admissions procedure to be admitted to the program.

Exceptions to the GMAT:

If you fulfill all of the following, you are not required to submit a GMAT score:

  • You hold a degree issued at a university in the European Economic Area (EEA)
  • You hold an undergraduate or graduate degree that includes courses in Business Administration

Important information regarding certificates and academic transcripts:

  • If you have not studied under the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS system, opens an external URL in a new window), please provide detailed information about your grading and academic credit system so we can evaluate the number of hours you have spent on a particular module.
  • PLEASE NOTE: SIMPLY ENTERING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ONLINE DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE OFFICIALLY ENROLLED IN THE PROGRAM OR AT THE UNIVERSITY! In order to be enrolled as a degree-seeking student, you must be officially admitted to the university and complete admissions (Step 3).

Equivalency requirements in Business Administration are considered fulfilled providing the prospective applicant has successfully passed courses in the following areas as part of a Bachelor's or Diploma degree program (minimum of the scope/level as specified)

  • 20 ECTS credits in Methods and/or Application courses, Finance/Accounting/Tax courses, and/or Management courses

Step 2: Complete the Selection Interview

Top-scoring candidates will receive an invitation to take part in an oral interview in English. The interview will be approximately 10 minutes and take place as part of a video conference via Zoom. If successful, you will be nominated for admission to the program.

Step 3: Admission to Studies

Applicants selected during the interview process (Step 2) will be nominated for admission to the program. Applicants will receive e-mail notification regarding their nomination to the program. The e-mail will contain information regarding the final steps to being admitted to the program.

Applicants must fulfill the university's admission requirements in order to be admitted. Please upload all of the required documents at JKU MyAdmission.
