Curriculum Vitae

Lisa Maria Hofer studied history and German language and literature as teaching subjects for secondary level II at the University of Salzburg. During and after her studies, she worked on various non-university research projects, e.g. on Austria's trade museums, or redesigned the content and pedagogical aspects of the Literature Museum Altaussee and the Einlegermuseum Obertrum within the framework of third-party grants.
She is active in numerous academic networks such as the German Society for Educational Sciences, the Network Disability Studies Austria, as well as the German Society for the History of the Deaf and is involved in an honorary capacity with the Upper Austrian regional museums and archives. She is also committed to the implementation of inclusion in Austrian schools.
She was a university assistant at JKU Linz from 2021 to 2023. Her research interests lies in historical intersectionality research, disability history, deaf history, and historical educational equity research.
