How can social innovation support peace-building measures?
EC²U Think Tank
How can social innovation support peace-building measures? On June 26, 2024, experts in a wide range of disciplines aim to explore this important topic at the Kepler Salon. This panel will include representatives from the Johannes Kepler University Linz, the city of Linz, members from charitable organizations, and members from the security sector. Representatives from the European Campus of City Universities (EC2U) alliance (which the JKU Linz joined in November 2023) will take part in the panel. The panel is a unique opportunity to engage with leading minds and professionals in the field and learn more about the potential of social innovation to sustain and promote peace. This think-tank session is one of eight organized internationally by the participating partner universities as part of the EC²U Alliance. The conclusions drawn by each think-tank will be compared during the upcoming EC²U Forum at the JKU Linz between October 21-24, 2024. Based on the results, the alliance will define the next steps and create a joint recommendation to submit to the European Union Commission.
