Cleaning Services

Contact us to address any issues regarding waste management and keeping our campus clean.
Our cleaning and waste management team makes sure that the entire campus is always clean, tidy, and inviting - both inside and out! Be it cleaning buildings, maintaining outdoor facilities, or waste disposal, we make sure that students, faculty members, and employees can enjoy a clean, pleasant environment.

Parking

The JKU is a predominantly traffic-free campus. Parking is available in an underground parking garage at the Science Park, in an outdoor lot around campus, and a new parking structure near the OIC building. Access parking using Altenbergerstraße. See: Parking at the JKU. to learn more.

In-House Services

Did you lose your cell phone, a wallet, or perhaps your jacket? Do you need someone to provide access to a building, lecture hall, or a classroom? The JKU's in-house services are available 24/7 and serves as your initial point of contact regarding lost property, information for suppliers, providing access to buildings, and/or opening doors.

Parking - Frequently Asked Questions

Push the button on the machine at the exit barrier to contact the Service Desk and they will provide you with further information, or they will open the barrier for you. Otherwise, you can contact the Information Desk at the Kepler Hall to get a new ticket.

If your ID card triggers an error message at the parking barrier when entering the parking lot, please proceed to the Info Desk at the Kepler Hall so they can take a closer look at what the issue could be.

The link to the application form for employees and student employees is available in Help. External employees are asked to send an e-mail to: info(at)jku.at to get a link to access the application form.

Disabled individuals who hold a permit in accordance with §29b of the Austrian Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) are not subject to parking fees and may park on campus (on the green marked paths), as well in the underground parking garage at the Science Park (T3). To get an exit ticket, please proceed to the Info Desk at the Kepler Hall and show your valid disability ID.

Info Desk - Frequently Asked Questions

First, please update your card at one of the terminals located in the Science Park (buildings 1-5), the Kepler Hall, the House of Schools, or at the OIC. If your card still does not work, please contact the Info Desk by sending an e-mail to: info(at)jku.at, or come to Kepler Hall in person.

Please go to Lost & Found at in-house services. You can ask them whether or not your missing item was turned in.
