After creating the Center for Clinical Research (CCR) at the JKU Faculty of Medicine with the Competence Center for Clinical Studies Linz (CCS Linz), initial services to provide statistical consulting for clinical researchers has begun.

After the start of providing statistical consulting services, the KKS Linz is now starting a pilot phase to offer project consulting services for clinical studies in accordance with AMG and MPG as well as targeted courses for employees at the JKU Faculty of Medicine. The consulting and training services are also available to researchers at the Kepler University Hospital, providing they are involved in a research project affiliated with the Johannes Kepler University Linz or are taking part in either the Clinician Scientist or Advanced Clinician Scientist (CS/ACS) programs. Doctoral candidates in the Medical Science degree program can also take advantage of project consulting services and take part in training courses. A program is currently being developed in cooperation with the Center for Medical Education (CME).
