Benedikt Schweizer graduated from the Master's degree program in Teacher Education Studies (Secondary Level) in German and History with distinguished honors. The JKU has been part of Cluster Mitte since the 2015/2016 academic year and together with other educational institutions, including the University of Salzburg and both teacher training colleges in Linz, the JKU has been supporting teacher education studies at the secondary level. Students who successfully complete the 8-semester Bachelor’s degree program can enroll to pursue a four-semester Master's degree program. The first program graduate successfully completed the program in just three semesters and has been teaching at a school since March 1.
