Univ. Prof. Dr. Zoltán Major heads the Institute of Polymer Product Engineering (IPPE). Research conducted at the institute covers the entire product life cycle of plastic components, starting with component design aided by modern numerical simulation methods, through to conventional materials and component testing, as well a pioneering additive manufacturing technologies (3D printing). Partnerships with companies, institutions in Austria and abroad, and in the public sector enable us to conduct cutting-edge research and guarantee that our students have access to a wide range of options.
