Traditional inaugural lectures by new professors at the JKU Faculty of Medicine took place in June.
Following the pandemic-related break, this year’s audience enjoyed a compact program featuring exciting insight into the world of medicine.
On Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 3:00 PM in HS 1 (JKU LEH building at the MED Campus):
- Univ. Prof. Dr. Rupert Langer, head of the Institute for Pathology and Molecular Pathology: „Von der Autopsie zur Artifiziellen Intelligenz – Die Pathologie im 21. Jahrhundert“
- Univ. Prof. DDr. Wolfram Hötzenecker, head of the Department of Dermatology and Venereology
„Immunmodulation bei Entzündungen – Erkenntnisse aus der Dermatologie“

- Univ. Prof. DDr. Jakob Völkl, head of the Institute of Physiology and Pathophysiology

- Univ. Prof. Dr. Susanna Zierler, head of the Institute of Pharmacology
"Channeling Immunity" - Univ. Prof. Dr. Alexander Moschen, head of the Department of Internal Medicine, with a focus on Gastroenterology and Hepatology
„Der Gastrointestinaltrakt - die faszinierende Welt in uns" - Univ. Prof. Dr. Soyoung Lee, head of the Institute for Tumor Biology, „Alt und gefährlich muss weg – was eine Tumorbiologin mit Senolytika erreichen möchte“
