After 17 years, the IEEE International Conference on Factory Communication Systems (WFCS) is in its 17th edition back in Austria. This time, the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz has the great honor to host this event. The WFCS is the most important conference especially dedicated to communications for industrial automation systems. It is held for the first time in Linz, an established and well-known hub for research and leading industries in Austria. The local organizers consisting of JKU Linz, Silicon Austria Labs, and Linz Center of Mechatronics GmbH cordially invite all interested persons to participate in this exciting event and get in touch with international experts. The WFCS is supported by IEEE and IES and led by the IEEE TC on Factory Automation. It will be hosted at the campus of the JKU Linz between the 9th and 11th of June 2021.
