In this project, UCB (via Element Genomics) team up with the Institute for Machine Learning at Johannes Kepler University Linz to advance AI methods for protein design and optimization. This project aims to increase the efficiency of gene editing tools using massively parallel screening, directed evolution, and deep learning-based representation learning.
