Our research: the research carried out by members of the Institute of Analysis includes various areas of Analysis and applications, including Approximation Theory, Banach Space Theory, Dynamical Systems, Functional Analysis, Harmonic Analysis, High Dimensional Geometry, Operator Theory, Spectral Theory, Wavelets, along with their diverse cross-links to fields of pure and applied mathematics such as Computational Mathematics, Convex Geometry, Mathematical Physics, and Nonlinear Resonances. During their work at the Institute of Analysis present and former members have published over 650 articles in mathematical, physical, geophysical, oceanographics and economics journals, including 6 advanced research monographs.
Our teaching: the Institute is responsible for a plethora of lectures, tutorials and seminars for the Bachelor Program Technical Mathematics and Bachelor Program Fundamentals of Natural Sciences for Technology, for the Master Program Computational Mathematics and Master Program Industrial Mathematics as well as for PhD Studies in Engineering and Natural Sciences. In addition, we are commited in service courses as Artificial Intelligence, Technical Physics, Mechatronics, Polymer Engineering, together with Teaching Mathematics.
