The JKU's medical degree program, Austria's first to be taught as part of the Bachelor's/Master's system, is educating a new generation of physicians. 54 students in the medical degree program have successfully completed their studies and celebrated their academic accomplishments during an academic ceremony held at the JKU MED Campus.

A total of 53 students in the Master’s degree program graduated ‘Doctor medicinae universae’. Female physicians made up the majority of graduates (32) compared to their male colleagues (21). One female graduate was awarded a doctorate degree in Medical Sciences.

Elgin Drda (JKU Vice-Rector and Dean), Bernd Lamprecht (Dean of Studies), Susanna Zierler (Deputy Dean of Studies), and Wolfram Hötzenecker (Dean of Research) attended the graduation ceremony, along with Mag. Christine Haberlander (deputy governor), and Priv. Doz. Dr. Karl-Heinz Stadlbauer (Medical Director at the Kepler University Hospital).

In 2024, a total of 81 medical degree students graduated from the program and took part in the celebrative academic ceremony.
