Welcome to the Institute of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the Johannes Kepler University!
Anatomy is the study of the structure, form and function of the human body, its tissues (histology) and their development (embryology). Cell biology focuses on cell structure and function and is closely related to physiology, biochemistry, and developmental biology.
We conduct research and teaching to play our role in contributing basic medical sciences in these areas.
