Welcome to the Institute of Automatic Control and Control Systems Technology!

The institute of automatic control and control systems technology, a division of the mechatronic group at the University of Linz, was set up in 1992 to facilitate the research and development of control systems. Automatic control covers principles and methods to analyze and design feedback systems. It is a systems discipline with applications in many technical areas, as well as in several non-technical fields. The area was established as an independent scientific discipline some 60 years ago. The institute aims to address the control demands of complex systems by developing new and innovative solutions that are relevant to industrial applications.
