We are delighted to announce that Laura M. Wolfthaler, a PhD student in our department, has won the prestigious Best Poster Award at the 73^rd Annual Meeting of the Austrian Physical Society! Her poster, titled "Understanding Biodegradation of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET): a Biophysical Approach", presents her exciting new work on the biodegradation of PET bringing together physical, biological and theoretical methods. Our department is incredibly proud of Laura's achievement—congratulations!
