May 20: The 2022 Long Night of Research is calling!

What does your DNA look like? How well would you do in school today? Discover this and much more!

If Covid has taught us anything, it’s that science has never before been as important and challenged as it is today, working hard under pressure to come up with fast solutions to immediate problems. Science did it, developing a vaccine and new treatment methods to manage the rate of infection, despite high case numbers. This is the essence of all areas of science and at the JKU, too: Conducting the type of research that helps and benefits humankind.

Learn more about just how this happens and why base-knowledge research has so much to do with your everyday life at the JKU, opens an external URL in a new window. Observe a live brain operation, learn more about court case procedures, on a large scale, explore the universe, and on a small scale, explore the world of bacteria, viruses and atoms. In short: Dive into the world of science during the 2022 Long Night of Research!
