It's a wrap! After two years of not being able to meet for the annual workshop of organization scholars with an Austrian, German or Swiss background, finally another physical "WK ORG Workshop" has taken place at Johannes Kepler University, Linz. The workshop hosted about 100 scholars at different career stages to discuss 40 research papers and 18 project proposals. The workshop was rounded off by a dedicated early career workshop hosted by Waldemar Kremser (Institute of Strategic Management) and a panel on "Business Administration and Fascism", looking at historical but, more importantly, also current developments. Elke Schüßler (Institute of Organization Science) who organized the event thanks JKU as well as her team for providing such excellent organizational support. The visitors enjoyed the modern meeting rooms in the JKU Design Center as well as the delicious food provided by the JKU Mensa. A highlight of the workshop was a visit to the Voestalpine Museum of Contemporary History, followed by a dinner at Voestalpine Stahlwelt. Here, Max Stelzer (Head of HR of Voestalpine AG) introduced the participants to important developments in the history of the corporation, and pointed out the ambitious future aim of becoming emissions-free by 2050.
