GUIDELINES FOR SPEAKERS

Timing:

• Tutorial lectures: 60 min (50 min plus 10 min for questions and discussion).
• Invited talks: 30 min (25 min plus 5 min for questions and discussion).
• Contributed talks: 15 min (12 min plus 3 min for questions and discussion).

It is recommended that you bring your own laptop (and adapter, if necessary) to connect via VGA or HDMI.
Please connect and check your presentation before the session starts.

BEST STUDENT TALK AWARDS (Supported by WILEY Advanced Electronic Materials)

The top three student talks will be rewarded.

GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PRESENTERS

All poster contributors are required to give a 2-min presentation using one static .ppt slide in order to get the ticket for the poster session. This session will also give you an opportunity to advertise your work and attract attendees to your poster during the main poster session(s). Please note that the .ppt slide should not be a miniature version of your poster but rather a flyer that summarizes and highlights key aspects of your research.

The 2-min presentation sessions will take place on March 16th in the morning (Session II). Please send your .ppt slide to bioel@jku.at using the template here, opens a file (NOT ANY OTHER FORMAT) by March 7th, 2025.

POSTER SESSIONS (Supported by MDPI sensors):

Posters should be in A0 portrait format (width: 841 mm, height: 1189 mm).

The two poster sessions will be carried out in the evenings of March 16th and 17th, 2025, based on the alphabetical order of surnames.

(A-M: 16th of March, L-Z: 17th of March  - subject to adjustments)

POSTER AWARDS (Supported by MDPI electronics):

All poster presenters (not just students) will be considered for the awards. The two poster sessions will be evaluated together, with three winners selected from both sessions. 

• 1st place: €300
• 2nd place: €200
• 3rd place: €100
