Process analysis and monitoring; process optimisation and robust processes; rubber injection moulding; dynamic mould temperature control (incl. additive manufacturing); moulding simulation; component and mould design; stage-gate processes. 

Surfaces: 
Simulation of surface structures and quality measurement; friction, wetting and adhesion phenomena in polymer processing; optimisation of mould surfaces.

Intelligent production: 
Real-time, closed-loop quality control in the injection moulding of rubber and thermoplastics.
