The weather was not as great as the information booths at the event. Numerous interactive platforms offered exciting but easy to understand experiments that conveyed the current state of research. Demonstrations included Airborne Optical Sectioning to locate objects and buildings hidden under dense forest or jungle forage, the world’s fastest waiter (a coffee-pouring robot), and how to detect gravitational waves.

In addition to the thirst for knowledge and being hungry for information, food trucks and liquid nitrogen ice cream were on hand to satisfy the appetites of hungry visitors.
