The Institute of Psychology consists of four departments and over 40 employees.
Institute members hold university-level courses and conduct research in the fields of education, pedagogy, communication, new media, social and economic psychology, health psychology, and cognitive psychology.
In addition, the institute collaborates closely with the LIT Robopsychology Lab, the Linz School of Education, and in the area of forensic psychology at the Institute of Criminal Law.
