Work, well-being and media consumption

The aim of this study is to find out more about the interplay between work, well-being and media consumption.
The linking of subjective data with objective behavioral data collected over several months is a significant extension of the state of research, as self-assessed use of social media is a poor reflection of objective (actual) use.
Subject areas:

  • Smartphone use during work
  • Fear of missing out (FOMO)
  • Problematic use of social media
  • Investigation of the question of whether a high level of FOMO is associated with increased spontaneous buying.
