On Monday, March 17, 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Andrés Kecskeméthy from the University of Duisburg-Essen, Chair of Mechanics and Robotics, at our institute. In the morning, Prof. Kecskeméthy was invited as an external examiner at the PhD defense of DI Gabriel Krög.

Following this, Prof. Kecskeméthy gave an interesting lecture with the title: “Some remarkable properties of the decomposition of a quaternion into a planar and a normal part to a plane and their application to IMU measurements in walking analysis”.
