"A Song All About AI” – but why?
THURSDAY, October 12, 7:00 PM
Kepler Salon Linz
The LIT Robopsychology Lab has been working together with 20 citizen scientists, artists and AI experts on the project “How to Explain AI” since last fall. The project aims to address key issues about artificial intelligence (AI) in everyday life and find creative approaches to answer them. The result? An AI song, “A Song All About AI”! The ideas and themes in the song were created with all of the co-researchers as part of a series of workshops. Singer-songwriter “Blonder Engel” turned aspects of these ideas into lyrics and music in his very own, humor-filled way!
On Thursday, October 12, 2023 the results of the project and their development were presented:
- Martina Mara, head of the LIT Robopsychology Lab, moderated the evening
- Kathrin Meyer and Thomas Meneweger gave insights into the song's origins and the participatory process
- A live performance of the song “A Song All About AI” by “Blonder Engel”
- In a discussion round, there were impressions from participants in the various stages of the project and on the topic “AI Literacy” (the importance of certain basic skills in regard to artificial intelligence): Verena Pietsch from the AI Experts group, Benjamin Müller from the Citizen Scientists group, Denise Hirtenfelder from the Artists group and Felix Schobesberger, who realized the song as Blonder Engel
- Finally, the music video for the song (realized by Lukas Wögerer) was premiered
