The performance, a partnership between Silke Grabinger, the JKU’s Circus of Knowledge, and the JKU’s Institute of Robotics, is ideal for the Fondazione Bonotto and its representative Josef Beuys collection, bringing contemporary urban dancer Silke Grabinger together with "Spot" (a robot dog developed by Boston Dynamics). The performance explores the current relationship between humans and technology against a backdrop of Josef Beuys' performance, "I Like America and America Likes Me".

Beuys' performance features Josef Beaty spending a week in a cage with a coyote and serves as the starting point for “SPOTSHOTBEUYS”. For the first time, Silke Grabinger was able to integrate this original record of Josef Beauys' performance into her performance. Numerous renowned art experts attended the performance and warmly applauded at the end.

The performance was tremendous successfully for Silke Grabinger as well as for the Circus of Knowledge and the JKU, presenting themselves in an outstanding artistic light.
