Daniel Windhager, MSc

Curriculum Vitae

Daniel Windhager, born in 1997, studied Hardware Software Design and Embedded Systems Design at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in Hagenberg, where he focused on digital design during his master’s studies. His master’s thesis involved developing a neural network accelerator for satellite-based Earth observation for early fire and smoke detection. After graduating, he joined Silicon Austria Labs, working in embedded systems and signal processing. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the Institute of Signal Processing, focusing on hardware designs and architectures for neural network accelerators and Spiking Neural Networks.
