The 2023 JKU Moot Court Team in Procurement Law

The Moot Court in Procurement Law culminated with an oral hearing at the Federal Administrative Court. As during the previous year, students from several universities competed against each other. In addition to a team from the JKU and WU Vienna, there was a team from the University of Innsbruck and a cross-university team (JKU and WU) added to this year's trial session.

As part of the procedure, students successfully simulated representing the contracting authority as well as the successful and unsuccessful bidders. The moot court was an opportunity for participants to demonstrate their legal, trial, and advocacy skills and persuade a panel of judges consisting of three high-ranking procurement attorneys (Dr. Michael Fruhmann, BMJ / Hofrätin Dr. Kerstin Holzinger, VwGH / Mag. Huber Reisner, BVwG).
