Recognitions.

The Institute of Software Systems Engineering (ISSE) has an outstanding staff with a healthy mixture of academic and industrial backgrounds. Our staff members have established a strong reputation in model-driven software and systems development. Members have been recognized as top software engineering scholars (Communications of the ACM), have received several Recognition of Service awards, as well as best paper awards at major international conferences. Staff members have also published over 100 peer-reviewed papers in major journals and conferences and they are involved in the organization of internationally-leading conferences. ISSE staff regular publishes in the leading scientific conferences and journals: including: International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE), Automated Software Engineering (ASE), IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering (TSE)

  • The paper "Cool features and tough decisions: a comparison of variability modeling approaches", co-authored by Paul Grünbacher and Rick Rabiser and originally published at VaMoS 2012, received the "Most Influential Paper Award" at the 16th International Working Conference on Variability Modelling of Software-Intensive Systems on February 25, 2022.
