Bio
Paul Grünbacher is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Software Systems Engineering at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz (Austria). His research interests include software product lines, model-based development and evolution, requirements engineering, and software monitoring. From 2013-2021 Paul headed the Christian Doppler Laboratory for Monitoring and Evolution of Very-Large-Scale Software Systems, opens an external URL in a new window. He has published more than 150 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and workshops. Paul is an Editorial Board Member of the Empirical Software Engineering Journal, opens an external URL in a new window (Springer) and the Information and Software Technology Journal, opens an external URL in a new window (Elsevier). He is regularly serving as a reviewer for international journals and conferences. He is member of ACM, ACM SIGSOFT, the IEEE CS, the Austrian Computer Society, and Euromicro. In 2021 he was designated as a Fellow of Automated Software Engineering, opens an external URL in a new window by the Steering Committee of the IEEE/ACM International Conferences on Automated Software Engineering.
