Strategy realisation in practice: from theory to successful implementation

[Translate to Englisch:] Reisinger Janko

Which factors are decisive in ensuring that a strategy is not just a plan but becomes reality? Is it clear structures, flexibility in implementation, focussing on key success factors or the people who shape change?

At the Johannes Kepler University, students deal with these central questions of strategic management right from the start of their studies. Many strategies fail during implementation due to a lack of clarity, communication or perseverance. We therefore not only deal with questions of strategy formulation, but also examine the requirements for successful strategy implementation. Students learn to utilise models and methods from a system-oriented perspective in order to understand the interactions between strategy, structure and culture and to promote the success of strategic change.

Today we were also able to shed light on this topic together with Philipp Kluge, an expert in production and supply chain management at Kärcher. He provided exciting practical insights and showed how transformation and change can become a reality in a global environment. A practical and inspiring exchange, not only for students, but also for the course instructors Sandra Janko and Sabine Reisinger. Thank you very much!
