We are pleased that Mr Lukas Stoiber - after four intensive and informative months - was able to successfully finish his internship at voestalpine Rohstoffbeschaffungs GmbH. The company's field of activity lies in energy and raw materials purchasing in order to ensure the supply of raw materials for the voestalpine Group's steel production.

At the end of the internship, in which Lukas Stoiber dealt with decarbonization in the steel sector and the associated demand for scrap, he was able to convincingly present the results of his intensive work in a presentation attended by the management and other employees of Rohstoffbeschaffungs GmbH. The student presented a self-developed comprehensive market and industry analysis.

This cooperation between the JKU and an international industrial company enabled our student to gain practical experience, make valuable contacts in the business world and independently apply what he had learned during his studies in practice, thus gaining valuable skills for his future career.

We would like to congratulate Mr. Stoiber for his professional final presentation and are very happy about his success.
