Waldemar Kremser and Fabio Damm recently attended the 10th Austrian Early Scholars Workshop in Management, which was held in the lovely city of Graz!
Now in its 10th year, the Austrian Early Scholars Workshop aimed to bring together young scholars interested in management, organization, human resource, innovation, entrepreneurship, and other areas of management research. Emphasizing theoretical and methodological diversity, the workshop provided a platform for early career scholars to network, discuss and present their research with acclaimed professors and scholars from international and Austrian universities in attendance. Professors such as John Amis, Professor of Strategic Management and Organisation (University of Edinburgh), Renate Meyer, Professor of Organization Studies (CBS Copenhagen), Johanna Mair, Professor of Organization, Strategy and Leadership (Hertie School of Governance Berlin & Stanford University), as well as our Head of Institute, Waldemar Kremser were among the prestigious invited faculty.
Fabio Damm, meanwhile, was able to to showcase his research on open foresight and sensemaking, inviting thought-provoking discussions and interactions with both early- and established scholars of the field. It was a terrific opportunity to hone skills, grow networks and broaden horizons!
A very big thank you from us to everybody involved in organizing this wonderful workshop! We certainly will be back next year.
