Professor Sigmar Stadlmeier, head of department, was teaching several modules on the law of armed conflict and on legal challenges of peace support operations at the Theresan Military Academy in Wr. Neustadt. Founded in 1752, the military academy of the Austrian army is the oldest continuously operating military academy of the world. In its curriculum "Fachhochschul-Studiengang Militärische Führung" it regularly welcomes exchange students from other European military academies.
