Be Nice to Each Other: Rules for Human-Robot Interaction

While robots will never replace us, we need interaction rules when it comes to all kinds of situations, including robosex. At the 4GAMECHANGERS Festival, the JKU’s Martina Mara and other experts addressed the issue.

Mara, a professor of Robopsychology at the JKU, remarked, "It’s becoming more about people and robots working together, meaning collaboration with robots will become stronger in the future. It’s about designing them to be predictable. We need to move away from the idea that machines will replace us but at the same time, we need rules for human-robot interaction. We have started the discourse."

Acclaimed philosopher and author David Precht provided an assessment, as did computer scientists as well as advocates and opponents of sex robots.
