Michael Strugl, successor to Gerhard Stürmer and the new head of the Kepler Society since January 10, remarked: "We are delighted about the decision to located the new digital university at the JKU. The location is ideal to leverage synergies and benefit from the JKU's established expertise. The two universities will complement and inspire each other. As the JKU’s alumni association, the Kepler Society will support further development with a comprehensive digitalization offensive in alumni support.
