Academic Supervision
-
As part of the course "Bachelorseminar", we supervise Bachelor's theses within the Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration. See: https://jums.ub.uni-muenchen.de/JMS/article/view/5052, opens an external URL in a new window to view an example of a Bachelor's thesis supervised by Prof. Gegenhuber.

Students interested in writing a Master's thesis are requested to contact Claudia Scheba (claudia.scheba(at)jku.at). The Master's thesis topic should be related to our research activities and interests (see section "Research").
-
Please contact Prof. Thomas Gegenhuber (thomas.gegenhuber(at)jku.at) if you are interested in finding a dissertation supervisor. Your topic should be in line with our research interests and activities. To be considered, please submit a 3-5 page research proposal.
If you would like to write a qualitative Bachelor's or Master's thesis and hone your methodological skills, you can take advantage of free online courses available on the Twills platform (which Prof. Thomas Gegenhuber has been involved in):

Academic Advising Appointments
To schedule an appointment, please send an email to: claudia.scheba(at)jku.at. Depending on your (and my) availability, meetings will be held either on-site at the JKU or online via Zoom. In order to have a productive session, we ask you to please prepare a short one-page summary outlining your questions and what the meeting will cover. Please send the information to me one day before the scheduled meeting. Should you have delicate questions or personal issues you do not wish to include in the summary, just let us know. The meeting can take between 15 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the subject.
