The new Metaverse Lab at the Linz Institute for Transformative Change (LIFT_C) focuses on a number of research topics, including Legal Design. Legal Design seeks to render the law and judiciary more accessible by creating and designing new innovative and user-oriented legal services.

During this session, we will explore new interdisciplinary avenues involving law, design, policymaking, and art. We are honored to welcome Jules Rochielle Sievert as keynote speaker! She will introduce her new book “Legal Design” (Cambridge University Press).

  • Introduction to the Metaverse Lab by Joaquín Santuber
  • Keynote speech: ‘The Transformative Legal Design Framework’ by Jules Sievert
  • Q & A and space for discussion with Jules Sievert and Joaquín Santuber

About Jules Sievert

Since 2013, Jules Rochielle Sievert has been the Creative Director at NuLawLab. Jules is currently pursuing an interdisciplinary PhD at the School of Art, Media and Design. Jules was a Health Equity Ambassador at Policy Link. Between 2017-2019, Jules served as a Creative Placemaking Policy Fellow at Arizona State University through the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts.
