The StartUp Center at the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Organizational Development extended an invitation to the 11th annual Gründercafé.
This year's Gründercafé for budding entrepreneurs provided outstanding insight into entrepreneurship in Upper Austria. Hall C at the JKU was filled with a new record number of visitors who had an opportunity to meet representatives of the entrepreneur network hub, ert. Visitors also included Prof. Ahu Genis-Gruber (Institute for Strategic Management, JKU) and her students.
Young entrepreneurs from Newsadoo and the JKU spin-off company Datavisyn provided insight into creating and developing a start-up company. Groups of students from courses offered by the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Organizational Development (JKU) had an opportunity to present their ideas. An all-female panel of experts and the audience (who voted online) selected "Extendible Heel" and "share help" as the winners!
Following the official part of the Start-Up Café, visitors eagerly spoke with many available professionals about start-up ideas and entrepreneurial opportunities. We would like to thank all of our partners providing consultations: The Hub,ert network (akostart, Creative Region Linz & Upper Austria, tech2b, WKO Entrepreneur Services, JKU, Entrepreneur.Base and Institute for Entrepreneurship), Sparkasse of Upper Austria, TECHHOUSE and ösb Consulting.
This year's strong attendance to learn more about entrepreneurial opportunities is a testament to the importance of the Gründercafé, giving JKU students and employees an opportunity to discuss their ideas. In the past, this event gave many successful entrepreneurs space to further develop their ideas and take the next steps!
