The Linz Institute for Transformative Change and Volkshilfe Upper Austria launched the UpdateSocial project in autumn 2022 with the aim of fostering social innovation for Upper Austria. In a 48-hour ideation workshop, people from various sectors — such as civil society, academia, and business — collaborated to find solutions to social challenges.

The journey now continues: We invite you to a follow-up event focused specifically on the scaling of social innovations. Together, we aim to explore how innovative approaches in the social sector can be scaled and sustainably anchored.
