A total of ten teams took part in this year's tournament. Whereas Team 2 fared less well - finishing in last place - JKU Team 1 made it through to the final. The team performed well, despite the loss of a player on the first match day and challenging Team USI Vienna 2 for the title. The Linz team kept up well during the first set but were then narrowly defeated 24:26. The JKU team then lost to the Viennese, who subsequently and deservedly took the title.

The JKU 1 team performed well nevertheless, finishing impressively in second place.
