Daniel Probstner, MEd MA

Daniel Probstner studied English and History and Political Education in the teacher’s training study program as well as English Language Sciences at the University of Salzburg, where he also worked as a student assistant and tutor at the English Department and the School of Education. Prior to his position as a project assistant at JKU, Daniel Probstner was a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) at Lafayette College in Easton, PA, where he taught German as a foreign language. At JKU, he is working on the FWF-funded Elise Richter project on language use in Transient International Groups (TIGs). His main research interests are related to second language acquisition (SLA), sociolinguistics, and English as a lingua franca (ELF).
