The home game at the JKU turned out to be an intense showdown between the final four teams from the past season (and in which our women’s team emerged victorious!). The atmosphere was electric as over 550 students were on hand to cheer the Astros on.

The JKU’s women Astros team held their own in a close game and clinched the victory with a final score of 52 to 47. The men’s team also performed admirably and took the win with a decisive score of 87 to 52.
The double victory is a testament to Astros strength and resilience. The men’s team is now in 3rd place in the standings as this victory earned them important points toward the upcoming play-offs in March. The women hold second place behind the Uni Vienna Emperors.

Another home game is scheduled for February and for the first time in ACSL history, the play-offs will take place in Linz on March 9.
